Some people found living with 8 people difficult, but I personally loved it! I lived there during my junior year and met a lot of transfers. There are less community/floor events than when I lived on the Hill. Even though a lot of people live on each floor, it was never too loud. Even when it was loud, there are really nice lounges on the first floor where I would do the bulk of my studying.
The freezer space was challenging at times. I know some people down the hall who brought their own personal mini fridges, so that may be helpful to consider. Another drawback is that there is no parking (unless you have special accommodations). But, there is a bus service that can take you to campus on the weekdays in about 10 minutes.
Since the apartment is close to Westwood, grocery shopping really easy. My roomates and I made use of the picnic tables and bbqs outside as well! They just added food trucks that come in the evenings too.
